Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12/Aug/2026

This policy explains what personal information HydroSox Ltd collects, why, how we look after it, and the rights you have over it. We keep this deliberately plain. We are the “data controller” for the information described here.

Who we are

HydroSox Ltd, 399–405 Oxford Street, Mayfair, London W1C 2BU.

Company registration number: 17273367.

You can reach us about privacy at info@hydrosox.com or 0203 4322 920. We do not currently have a Data Protection Officer, and are not required to appoint one.

What we collect

When you order, we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number and order details. Payment is handled by our payment providers — we do not see or store your full card details. If you contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence. If you browse the site, we collect limited technical and usage data (see our Cookie Policy).

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your information to fulfil your order and provide customer service (to perform our contract with you); to meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation); and, only where you have agreed, to send you marketing (consent). We rely on legitimate interests to run and secure the site and understand how it is used.

Marketing

We will only email you marketing if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing never affects the service emails about an order you have placed.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the providers who help us run the shop — our ecommerce platform, our payment provider, and our delivery service — and only so far as they need it to do their job. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as the law requires (generally six years for tax purposes) and other information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@hydrosox.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Keeping it safe

We use appropriate measures to protect your information and work only with providers who do the same. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
