Refund policy
Returns & Refunds
Last updated: August 2026
We want you to be happy with your HydroSox. This page explains your right to change your mind, how to return an item, and how refunds work. It sits alongside your legal rights — it does not replace them.
Your right to change your mind (14 days)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you would like to cancel it, for any reason. You then have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.
How to start a return
Email us at info@hydrosox.com within the 14-day cancellation period, quoting your order number. We will confirm the return and give you the return address.
Returns should be sent to: HydroSox, 1–3 Thornleigh, Dewsbury WF12 9LB.
The condition items must be in
To receive a full refund, items should be returned in the same condition you received them, with any tags or packaging. You are entitled to handle an item as you would in a shop to check it; if an item’s value is reduced because it has been used beyond that, we may reduce your refund accordingly.
Who pays for return postage
For a change-of-mind return, the cost of returning the item to us is yours unless we agree otherwise. If an item is faulty, we cover the return cost in full (see our Warranty & Faulty Goods page).
Your refund
Once we receive the returned item, we will refund you within 14 days. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
For a change-of-mind return we refund the price of the goods and the basic delivery cost you paid; if you chose a more expensive delivery option, we refund the cost of our standard option.
Hygiene note
Socks are worn next to the skin. For hygiene reasons we ask that, if you wish to return an item, you try it on over your own sock or briefly and do not wear it outdoors. This does not affect your right to inspect the item, and it does not apply to faulty goods.
Items this policy does not limit
Nothing here reduces your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if an item is faulty. Those are covered on our Warranty & Faulty Goods page.
